I don’t know about you guys, but I loooove baking. I am constantly craving a sweet treat after my meals. Though there are a bunch of recipes out there, I find that it is a little bit trickier to find a healthy recipe that doesn’t taste like grass. Naturally, when I do find them, I put them on repeat. Ever so often, when I find myself wondering from the THM cookbook, I am stuck on the fact that the majority of the healthy dessert recipes out there use agave, honey or maple syrup as a sweetener. For someone who isn’t following the plan, this is a little bit less of a problem. However, for the true THM followers, this is some seriously sad news. I’m sure that you, too, have come across this issue and have therefore not been able to test the healthy dessert recipe waters. The answer to this problem is a little bottle of joy that has just recently been added to the Spooniful inventory: Nature’s Hollow Maple Syrup. This is a Xylitol sweetened syrup that will not spike your blood sugar! How exciting is that?
